
Dr. Levard Roberts, MD, CHS, FASN
Internal Medicine, Hypertension Specialist & Nephrologist Executive Medical Director, Eden Well
Dr. Roberts is a highly accomplished Nephrologist, American board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Nephrology and certified as a Hypertension Specialist. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, he is a proud alumnus of Queen’s College High School and Acadia University, where he laid the foundation for his medical journey.
After completing his M.B.B.S at the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, Dr. Roberts pursued an Internal Medicine residency with Columbia University in New York, where he earned honorable mentions for his exceptional work. His commitment to Nephrology led him to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Fellow during his Nephrology Fellowship, honing his expertise in kidney disease management.
Dr. Roberts has dedicated his career to raising awareness about kidney disease and advocating for those affected by it. As the current Executive Medical Director of the Bahamas Kidney Association, he continues to lead initiatives to improve kidney health in the community. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology and an active member of the National Kidney Foundation, contributing to research in the field of kidney disease. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Roberts is a devoted husband and father of one son. He enjoys sports and has a passion for digital design, embracing both his love for health and creativity.

Dr. Mitesha Nottage-Smith
Family Medicine
Dr. Nottage-Smith was born in Nassau, Bahamas. From an early age, she knew she loved helping others, especially kids, but couldn't decide between becoming a teacher or a pediatrician. With a gentle nudge from her parents, she opted to enter into the field of medicine. She chose the specialty of Family Medicine, as it encompassed providing care for the entire family, while allowing time for having a family of her own.
Dr. Nottage-Smith attended Temple Christian School until junior high, then completed senior high school at St. Augustine’s College. She later achieved her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry at the College of the Bahamas in 2008. Thereafter, she was accepted into The University of the West Indies Mona Campus, where she completed her medical studies and became a physician in 2013. In 2015, she joined the Family Medicine Program, and on completion, received a Doctor of Medicine in Family Medicine.
She started her career at Princess Margaret Hospital and advanced from an intern to a Senior House Officer in Internal Medicine, before joining the Department of Family Medicine. She worked as a Registrar at Elizabeth Estates Clinic for a short time before joining the team at Live Well Family Health Center, where she practiced for almost 6 years. She recently joined the Eden Well Team in July of 2025.
Dr. Nottage-Smith is happily married and has one son. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, baking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Rogeolle Morris, MBBS, DM (Internal Medicine)
Adult Cardiologist & Cardiac Electrophysiologist
Dr. Rogeolle Morris is the only cardiac electrophysiologist currently practicing in The Bahamas, and she also provides comprehensive general cardiology care. This means patients have access to world-class expertise in both everyday heart health and the most advanced rhythm disorder treatments—without needing to travel abroad.
Dr. Morris completed her Doctor of Medicine (DM) in Internal Medicine at the University of the West Indies before advancing her training in Canada. At the University of Toronto, she trained across four leading hospitals—Toronto Western, Toronto General, Mount Sinai, and St. Michael’s—where she developed expertise in the management of hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and complex arrhythmias.
As an electrophysiologist, Dr. Morris specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, offering advanced therapies such as:
- Catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
- Pacemaker and defibrillator (ICD, CRT) implantation and management
- Device interrogation and optimization (Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott systems)
- Holter monitoring and event recorders for rhythm assessment
- Tailored rhythm management for athletes and active individuals

Dr. Charles P. Lucas, MBBS, DM (General & Vascular Surgery)
Dr. Charles P. Lucas is a General, Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon practicing in The Bahamas. Born on December 8, 1985, in Bridgetown Barbados, he has established himself as a leading figure in vascular and endovascular surgery throughout The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
Dr. Lucas earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the West Indies, after completing a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. He subsequently obtained his Doctor of Medicine (DM) in General Surgery. He further advanced his subspecialty expertise through a Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship at the University of Toronto, Canada, where he gained advanced training in complex vascular reconstruction and minimally invasive endovascular therapies.
Dr. Lucas is widely recognized for pioneering achievements in vascular surgery within The Bahamas and the Caribbean. In 2024, he successfully placed the first Wrapsody Cell-Impermeable Stent in the Caribbean and designed the first custom thoracic aortic stent for use in The Bahamas. That same year, he organized and hosted both the International Vascular Symposium and the Minimally Invasive and Endovascular Workshop in Nassau, further advancing regional surgical education. In 2025, he performed The Bahamas’ first ultrasound-guided thrombin injection for a complex pseudoaneurysm. He was honored as a Global Caribbean Award Recipient Under 50’s Clinical Leadership in 2024 and, in 2025, received the Surgical Excellence Award from Doctors Hospital in recognition of his outstanding surgical outcomes, innovation, and leadership in advancing syrgucal care.
Dr. Lucas is married to Dr. Adrienne Gomez-Lucas, and together they share two children, Cheryll-Marie Lucas, age 8, and Anderson Lucas, age 5. Together, Dr. Lucas and his wife co-founded The Bahamas Vein Clinic, driven by a shared passion for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. Their collaborative vision is centered on advancing minimally invasive vein care and improving vascular health outcomes throughout the region.
Committed to education and mentorship, Dr. Lucas serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies, School of Clinical Medicine and Research. He has presented extensively at regional and international scientific conferences and has contributed to academic publications in general and vascular surgery. Earlier in his career, he was recognized as Intern of the Year at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, and held leadership roles including Vice President and Acting President of the Junior Doctors Association of Barbados.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Lucas is a former National Junior Rugby Player of Barbados, a former ranked junior chess player, and a founding member of the Rex Nettleford Hall Chess Club at UWI Mona. He enjoys Go and Latin dancing and remains actively involved in community and faith-based organizations.

Brittany Major MT(ASCP)
Lab Director
Brittany Major is a US board-certified Medical Technologist with a career spanning over a decade in laboratory science. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, she graduated from St. Andrew’s School before furthering her education at Michigan State University, where she earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics and Biology in 2012.
In 2013, Brittany relocated to Washington, DC, to pursue a Medical Technology program at Washington Hospital Center. She completed the program in 2014 and passed the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) board exam, earning her certification as a Medical Technologist. Following her certification, she moved to South Florida and worked as a Generalist at Northwest Medical Center in Pompano Beach, Florida.
In 2017, Brittany returned to The Bahamas to serve as the Laboratory Supervisor at a local clinic and joined Eden Well in 2022. A member of the Bahamas Association of Medical Technologists (BAMT), Brittany has developed strong relationships with local physicians and colleagues in the medical field, reflecting her dedication to professional growth and collaboration. She aims to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within laboratory medicine in The Bahamas.

Brianna Eccleston

Brianna Eccleston is the CEO and Founder of Eden Well, a healthcare facility focused on expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services. She earned her degree in Forensic Science from the University of Tampa, and while her background is not in medicine, she has leveraged her scientific training, analytical skills, and dedication to service to address a critical need in the country’s medical infrastructure.
In 2021, Brianna launched Eden Well as a COVID-19 testing center. Under her leadership, the organization has rapidly expanded into a comprehensive medical laboratory, dialysis center, and clinic, now offering family medicine and specialty care services. Her scientific background has been invaluable in developing and implementing precise protocols, quality control measures, and regulatory compliance, ensuring consistently high-quality patient care.
Brianna has demonstrated excellent business acumen and leadership by assembling a team of highly qualified medical professionals and healthcare experts, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation at Eden Well. She is deeply passionate about providing safe, clean, and technologically advanced healthcare, with a continued focus on quality, efficiency, and compassionate patient experiences.
